Hair Jazz Review

Jazz Up Your Shower!

Hair Jazz Shampoo

In this post, I’ll be looking  at a few different Hair Jazz for hair loss treatments.

Remember, I don’t think a single treatment can miraculously regrow hair – as hair loss can be triggered by many things like chronic inflammation, hormonal imbalances and diet, to name a few – so it might take more than a shampoo to solve it, no matter how good it is!

BUT it’s still a good idea to support your scalp and hair health with products that contain nourishing ingredients for hair, instead of the ones that dry it out like you’ll find in popular supermarket shampoos.

Hair Jazz fits into this ‘nourishing’ category and could be worth switching to from your regular cleanser. (Although if you’re gonna do that, I’d recommend Revita first!)

Now the question is, do these French professional haircare products actually promote hair growth? Or are they a load of razzle dazzle? Keep reading my Hair Jazz review to find out!

SALE: Hair Regrowth & Repair Mega Set

Hair Jazz Mega Set

What is Hair Jazz?

A relative newbie to the hair loss industry, Hair Jazz is formulated in the south of France by a cosmetic company called Institut Claude Bell – a brand already known for its line of hair thinning products.

Hair Jazz prides itself as “professional haircaire formulated with powerful ingredients”. Its products are designed to reduce hair loss and address common hair problems with clinically effective ingredients to prevent breakage, protect hair health and even promote hair growth.

The product line includes: hair growth pills, a hair growth shampoo and conditioner, a hair serum and cream, a heat protectant spray, plus several other products to maintain scalp and hair health. They’re suitable for all hair types and there are specific products available for curly and wavy hair, plus a purple shampoo and purple conditioner for blonde hair.

In this post, I’ll focus on the most popular Hair Jazz hair growth treatments. Plus, the sets that are available to tackle all forms of hair loss.

Luckily for those of us who don’t live in southern France, these treatments are available worldwide – but only from the Hair Jazz website. You can’t buy them on Amazon or in the supermarket.

Key Ingredients & Benefits

According to Hair Jazz, their hair growth promoting shampoos and repairing conditioners are designed “for thinning hair and to help prevent bald spots”. Whether or not they actually do so remains to be seen – but this haircare range does contain several hair growth promoters and nutrients to improve scalp and hair follicle health.

Although the ingredients differ across its product line, here are the common active ones you’ll find in Hair Jazz:

  • Keratin: An essential protein for strengthening hair, keratin also helps it look thicker, healthier and shinier.
  • Biotin: Improves skin, hair and nail health and protects against damage by assisting in keratin production.
  • Vitamin B6: Supports immune and metabolic function (including hair growth), plus contributes to brain health. The brain fog and headaches I’d been experiencing for a long time improved a lot when I realised I was deficient in Vitamin B6 and started taking this decent B complex!
  • Vitamin E: Soothes the scalp, reduces oxidative stress and preserves the protective lipid layer: creating a stronger foundation for new hair to grow.
  • Coconut Oil: Rich in Vitamins K and E, plus fatty acids like lauric acid, the benefits of coconut oil include its anti-microbial, hormone-balancing properties: to reduce hair shedding and promote scalp health.
  • Argan Oil: Strengthens the hair shaft and actively repairs damaged hair, while cleansing the scalp and hair follicles. See more benefits here.

Hair Jazz also make a range of products for curly hair, which, in addition to the above natural ingredients, contain arginine, soy germ extracts, shea butter, jojoba oil, chia seed oil, sunflower oil and olive oil. That’s a lot of moisturizing goodness going on!

All Hair Jazz treatments are paraben free, sulfate free, hormone and cruelty free. Sulfates like sodium lauryl sulfate can often strip the hair of its essential oils and leave it feeling dry and brittle, while parabens (added to create that foamy lather) can irritate your scalp or even trigger hair loss.

So it’s good to know Hair Jazz is a more natural treatment – check out this post for more of my top sulfate-free shampoos, including my favorite shampoo for hair loss and to promote hair growth: Revita from DS Labs.

Top Hair Jazz Products & Reviews

1. Hair Jazz Pro Hair Growth Stimulating Shampoo

This hair thinning shampoo would be a great option to use alongside any other hair growth treatments you might be using, like Revita or Zenagen. Why? Well, you should only use those products every other day, and you only need to use Hair Jazz Shampoo every two or three days.

Often we wash our hair fair too often: doing so daily can actually strip the scalp of its natural oils, which are important for healthy hair growth. Using a small amount of the shampoo every few days keeps your scalp and hair nourished while adding an extra splash of moisture.

Hair Jazz shampoo works to accelerate hair growth, stimulate hair regrowth and prevent hair loss. But does it really make a difference? Well, a study among customers showed the following results after using the PRO shampoo for 30 days:

  • 83% increase in hair strength
  • 76% increase in hair growth
  • 90% overall satisfaction with the treatment

How to Use

Apply to wet hair and massage the growth shampoo into your scalp for 1 to 2 minutes. Let it sit for another 2 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Follow up with Hair Jazz Conditioner.

What Customers Say

These products are amazing! I highly recommend! They not only had my hair growing but also feeling and getting healthier after each use!

2. Hyaluronic Repair Conditioner for Damaged Hair

Although Hair Jazz make other conditioners, I’ve included this one because so many of us suffer dry, damaged hair as a result of our environment, overstyling or even nutritional deficiencies. Occasional intensive treatments are great, sure – but you can keep protecting your scalp and strands with a lightweight conditioner that can nourish it from inside out.

The active ingredient in the conditioner, hyaluronic acid, is a naturally occuring molecule in our bodies which retains moisture. When applied to your hair and scalp, it hydrates and provides essential nutrients to the hair follicles.

As a result, Hair Jazz repair conditioner both moisturizes your hair and restores its structure while protecting it from breakage and oxidative damage. You may notice less dull, lifeless locks and instead, hair that’s softer and shinier. Woohoo!

How to Use

After shampooing, apply a small amount of the conditioner along the entire length of your hair. Leave it to sit for 2 minutes and rinse with cool water.

What Customers Say

My hair feels lighter and stronger. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

3. Nourishing & Moisturizing Hair Serum

With a deep hydration and repair effect, the Hair Jazz hair serum is ideal for those with chemically treated or coloured hair – or simply those who have dry, damaged hair and could do with a more intensive moisturizing treatment.

Pura D’Or is another nourishing brand for color-treated hair…one of my top hair thinning brands, actually!

The serum contains Vitamin E, sunflower oil and goji berries – so it’s almost like a superfood for your hair.

Use it as a daily hair loss treatment to restore damaged hair cuticles, regenerate dry and split ends and make your hair soft, silky and shiny – with a non-sticky formula. You can even use the hair serum as a mask before you wash your hair, leaving it to soak in for 15 minutes before rinsing.

How to Use

Add several drops of serum onto your palms, then apply it evenly to your towel-dried hair – from mid-length to the tips. (You don’t rub it into your scalp). The serum can also be used on dry hair to add shine and a glossy effect.

What Customers Say

Actually DOES what it says. I bought hundreds of other products in the past (and most were much more expensive than this) and it’s safe to say 99% of them did NOT deliver the promises advertised. What I have experienced with this serum for ONLY A FEW WEEKS OF USE is crazy, when I didn’t even expect any change. But I do see it now so yes, I am taking time to review it. I definitely recommend it.

4. Intense Nutrition Mask for Damaged Hair

A must for delicate, dry or damaged hair, this weekly mask treatment works to restore your hair back to its natural glory. It does this by coating hair in moisturizing oils, deeply nourishing each strand and rebuilding its structure right from the follicle.

It also claims to prevent breakage and ensure healthy hair growth. I don’t know about its hair growth powers but I can see from its great natural ingredients how the Hair Jazz hair mask could have a deep hydration and repair effect. And that it would be particularly useful if you bleach, color your hair or use a lot of heat styling.

How to Use

Once a week, apply Hair Jazz mask to damp and clean hair, spreading it evenly from mid-length to the tips. Let it sit for 3–5 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

What Customers Say

This stuff works and is so worth it! My hair takes over a year to grow an inch and its grown almost 2 inches in three months. My hair has nearly no split ends and feels thicker and healthier than ever before! I noticed the difference after just one use! I will now be a permanent customer!

5. Hair Jazz Hair Growth Vitamins

Each hair growth vitamin contains hyaluronic acid, biotin, collagen, vitamin B6 and keratin to assist in the production of healthy hair and prevent damage. This Hair Jazz vitamin profile aims to help your hair grow thicker, softer and more manageable while reducing hair shedding that a dry or damaged scalp could be triggering.

The hair vitamins claim to visibly reduce hair loss, stimulate hair growth and strengthen each hair follicle. But I must say, I’d still prefer Folexin supplements as they have such a good reputation. See my full review on those here.

Although Hair Jazz hair growth vitamins contain great natural ingredients, it’s worth noting that some people might have a biotin sensitivity: so check with your doctor before taking any hair vitamin containing biotin. Or try Viviscal, which contains a tiny amount of biotin and is another brand I recommend.

How to Use

Take 2 pills every morning with water. A single bottle contains 60 hair vitamins – so it will last you for one month.

What Customers Say

I thought my hair was never gonna grow past my shoulders ever again. Until I started using these products.,now it’s almost to my waist. A couple more inches to go. It’s so strong shiny and healthy. I couldn’t be happier! It’s the longest it’s been since I was a child! I highly recommend.

Final Thoughts: High Notes of Promise?

While I won’t be rushing out to buy Hair Jazz in the hopes of it regrowing my hair, and I’m a little dubious of the big clams they make on their overly salesy website, I like the sound of the products themselves.

They use great natural ingredients to support healthy hair and they don’t contain the kind of harmful chemicals that can damage your hair or irritate the scalp. The products aren’t all that cheap – but you could start small, with maybe the shampoo and conditioner – then there are plenty of treatments to try if you fall in love with the brand.

Hair Jazz offers quite big discounts around holidays (like Labor Day or Mother’s Day) so it might be worth checking their site now and again to avail of these deals.

I’d still choose Revita first, though – and the other hair treatments from DS Laboratories. Their products are also natural, with even more hair growth supporting ingredients included. They’re also free from sulfates, parabens and gluten, are much more affordable, and their customer service is great, too!

Still, if you choose Hair Jazz and want to share your experiences with it, please do so in the comments below!

  1. I have bought hair jazz for a long time. But I cannot find a phone number to let them know the last two orders I have done I have not received. And I keep getting busy signals with their main phone number. Please help I just bought over $100 worth of products. I have not even received a tracking number yet. That was on 09/29/23 It is unusual I don’t know what’s going on ?? My last order was like that too. Do they have new management or someone that bought them out?

    1. Hi Valerie, I’m so sorry for the very late reply…I’ve just had a baby so it’s taking me a while t catch up! And I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience with Hair Jazz, that’s so so frustrating. Unfortunately I don’t know much about the company in terms of contact details, as this review was just to highlight one of the many options available for those with alopecia and I’m not connected to the brand or anything. I did read about their questionnable customer service in other reviews though, which is why I’ve listed it as a ‘con’ here. But in terms of ways you can get in touch with them, I’m so sorry that I can’t help. I really hope you receive your order soon!
