HEADSCARVES FOR HAIR LOSS: GIVE YOUR HEAD A HUG!

Give your head a hug

Best Headscarves for Hair Loss

If you’re dealing with alopecia or any kind of hair loss, finding something that actually feels good to wear can make a bigger difference than you’d expect.

I've had alopecia since I was 10

After losing my mum caused me to lose my hair, too. That first small bald patch expanded during my teens, getting harder and harder to hide. Until eventually all my curls were gone.

Lady Alopecia then and now

I tried everything to regrow my hair, hide my patches, or replace my curls. Injections, shampoos, treatments, oils, potions, sprays, wigs. You name it, I’ve tried it all. And more.

And none of it worked for long.

What did was finding something I actually felt comfortable wearing, something that felt like me, even if it wasn’t my own hair.

What actually worked for me

There are loads of options out there, wigs, hats, and different types of headscarves, tied, pretied.

I tried a lot of them and none of them was quite right. Either too itchy, too hot, not my style or clearly not made by someone who knew what being bald was like.

In the end I started making my own simple, soft headscarves that stay on and feel good to wear.

These are the headscarves I wear every day.

Super Soft Bamboo Headscarf

Lightweight, breathable and gentle on your scalp. Simple colours. Super versitile. The one I reach for most days.

Stretchy Jersey Cotton Headscarf

A bit thicker and warmer. Super soft. Good for cooler days, when you want more coverage or too look a bit glam.

Funky Floral Cotton Headscarf

A happy medium, thicker than the bamboo and lighter than the jersey. Easy to throw on and style.

Why These Headscarves Work?

So, give your head a hug.

You deserve it!

I made my happy headscarves because I couldn’t find anything that actually worked for me.

If you’re dealing with hair loss, I hope they help you feel a bit more like yourself again.
